Ontario Hockey Federation Contracts with PRIVIT®, Inc. to Manage The Health Profiles of OHF Players
The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) announces it has signed an agreement with PRIVIT®, Inc. to provide a comprehensive health assessment system for their Program of Excellence. This program will be implemented beginning in April.
Phillip McKee, Executive Director of the Ontario Hockey Federation, said, “We look forward to working with PRIVIT® to streamline the pre-participation information collection process, but more importantly to have that information in a useful format for those onsite who require it.”
PRIVIT®, Inc. offers the world’s only web based privacy compliant platform in which a player completes an Electronic Pre-Participation Evaluation (e-PPE). The completed e-PPE generates the player’s personal health profile. The player owns the health profile and in turn grants viewing rights to individuals such as a healthcare professional. This arrangement and PRIVIT® ensures the collection and storage of the player’s personal health data is thoroughly privacy compliant.
In summary, Privit Profile™ (formerly Privit e-PPE) improves the process of collecting health data and the personal health profile assists in identifying risk symptoms that permit designated healthcare professionals to respond quickly and correctly when situations arise. The preceding features mitigate the risks associated with physical activities and eliminate costs associated with traditional paper based data collection and storage.
